Tereza Martincová was born in Prague, Czech Republic on October 24, 1994. Martincová has won four singles titles on the ITF Circuit.

On February 14, 2022, she reached her highest singles ranking of world No. 40. On March 7, 2022, she was ranked 79th in the WTA doubles standings.

Martincová made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the Nürnberger Versicherungscup in June 2013. After making it through all three qualifying sessions, she was defeated in stage one by Estrella Cabeza Candela.

Martincová qualified for the Baku Cup a month later, where she defeated Oksana Kalashnikova[3] before losing to Tadeja Majeri in the second round.

Her performance improved significantly in 2020. She repeated her winning performance to the qualifying round in Melbourne.

She defeated Misaki Doi and Kristna Plková in qualifying for the Qatar Open.

She has never made it to the main draw of a Premier-5 tournament before.
