Person found dead in Ruths Chris Steak House in Arlington

A person was found dead at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in the Crystal City neighborhood on Monday, Arlington County police said.

A police dispatcher said someone arrived at the restaurant, which was scheduled to be closed until 4:30 p.m. Monday, and found the body. Police were called at 1:48 p.m.

The dispatcher did not know the age or gender of the person who had died or when the person had entered the restaurant.

According to the restaurant’s website, Ruth’s Chris was open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday.

An employee who answered the phone at the restaurant on Monday afternoon directed all questions to the chain’s corporate headquarters, which did not respond to calls and an email seeking comments.
